How does it work?

Attendees bring their once- cherished-though-no-longer-desired clothes, music, books, and art supplies to the event. These items are organized into boutique-like departments. Attendees can then browse each department and take as much as they can want. For free. Seriously.

Meanwhile artists screenprint custom tote bags, fashion photographers take photos of “scored” outfits, and our style partners share tips, ideas, resources. Plus there's great music, delicious food, & cold drinks. Proceeds from ticket sales and leftover items are donated to community partners.

Where did this come from?

The first Score! Pop-Up Swap took place in Brooklyn in 2009 with over 1,600 attendees. In 2012, we extended Score! to the west coast, with events at The Bold Italic HQ, California Academy of Sciences, and SF Work & Leisure Club. Here's the full story...

What's the deal with this event?

We're taking over San Francisco's premier food truck park for the largest west coast party yet! Join us for a night market of epic proportions.

Proceeds from this event benefit Hack The Hood - a unique program that trains and mentors low-income youth of color in tech and web development and then deploys them to construct mobile-friendly websites for local businesses.

No two Score! events are alike. Some take place at indie venues, waterfront parks, artist studios, lofts, or bars. Some have DJs, some have mixtapes, some have nail art, some have taco trucksBut they all achieve the same goal:

reduce waste through partying

Meet our smart & sexy Style Partners

What is a Score! Style Parter? A featured attendee that we really admire. This party is not just about sharing resources and having a good time, it is about celebrating the people that make SF great. Come swap with them.

Why are we doing this?
